You've got to be kidding me!

The first paragraph is the exact reason that classics scare me. It is one long sentence. It consist of 148 words,6 commas, and 2 semi colons. It is no wonder I have no idea what she just said. I guess I'll have to read that again. To do this properly I should be taking my time and looking up words I don't understand. The first one is decorum.

decorum-n. polite behavior
sundry-adj. miscellaneous
vivacity-n. quality of being vivacious(lively)
All of these are words I have heard or used and did so properly but had no idea how to define them. I feel so much smarter than I did two days ago. Here's one of my favorite (partial) senctances in Ch.2..."no commonplace soul inhabited the body of this stray woman-child". Wow, to be able to command the engilsh language like that and convey your thoughts so completely and with so little words.
I love Matthew Cuthbert already, because he prefered for Anne to do all the talking. My kind of man. Ha. Ha.
